Please note that at its regular meeting of January 22, 2020, the Poughkeepsie City School District (the “District”) Board of Education appointed William Hogan to the position of Interim Chief Operations Officer, commencing January 23, 2020. The District hereby notifies resident taxpayers that Mr. Hogan has received the approval of the New York State Education Department for employment by the Poughkeepsie City School District pursuant to Section 211 of the Retirement and Social Security Law, at a salary of $175 per hour. This position is not eligible for health and dental benefits, or vacation, sick, personal, or holiday pay. Mr. Hogan will continue to receive his pension while employed by the District.
