Items Not Available to Public

    1. Interschool or intraschool memoranda and letters. Exceptions: Statistical or factual tabulations, instructions to staff that affect the public or reflect agency policies. Board policy determinations or external audits performed by the comptroller and the federal government.
    2. Those items exempted by State or Federal statute.
    3. Those items which if disclosed, would constitute an unwarranted invasion of privacy. Included in this exception are items which:
      1. disclose employment, medical or credit histories or personal references of applicants for employment;
      2. involve medical or personal records;
      3. list names and addresses for commercial or fund raising purposes;
      4. would result in economical or personal hardship;
      5. are not relevant to its ordinary course of work and proffered confidentiality.
    4. Those items which would impair present or imminent contract awards or collective negotiations.
    5. Those items which are confidentially disclosed to the Board and compiled and maintained for the regulation of commercial enterprise, including trade secrets, or for the grant or review of a license.
    6. Those items which are compiled for law enforcement purposes and which, if disclosed, would:
      1. interfere with law enforcement investigations or judicial proceedings;
      2. deprive a person of a right to a fair trial or impartial adjudication;
      3. identify a confidential source or disclose confidential techniques or procedures, except routine techniques or procedures; or
      4. reveal criminal investigative techniques or procedures, except routine techniques and procedures;
    7. Those records which if disclosed would endanger the life or safety of any person.
    8. Those records which are examination questions or answers that are requested prior to the final administration of such questions.
    9. Those records which are computer access codes.
