Capital Improvement & Facilities Committee
The purpose of the Capital Improvement & Facilities Committee is to:

Facilitate the annual review of the Capital Improvement Plan.

Review and make recommendations related to the school district's facility concerns.

Serves as the oversight body for current Capital projects.

Serves as the planning body for future Capital projects.

The purpose of the Audit and Finance Committee is to:
-
Facilitate board involvement in the development of the District's annual budget.

Facilitate an annual review of the Superintendent's recommended budget.
-
Review the annual budget process timeline.
-
Receive and review regular reports on the District's financial position.
-
Recommend Budget/Finance policies to the Board for its adoption.
-
Review of Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and management letter.
-
Conduct program reviews as part of the budget process.
-
Assist the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities for audit, internal control, and financial reporting processes, as well as the District's processes for monitoring compliance with laws and regulations and Board policy.

Assist the Board in ensuring that the District adopts and implements controls and procedures promoting compliance and standards of excellence in the areas of honesty, integrity, and ethics.

Promotes maintains and enhances the independence and objectivity of the Board's Office of Auditor General by ensuring broad audit coverage, adequate consideration of audit reports, and appropriate and timely action on recommendations.

Serves to reduce the risk of both internal and external influences that might otherwise impair the independence and objectivity of the Office of Comptroller.

Student Achievement Committee
The purpose of the Student Achievement Committee is to:

Assists in setting educational policies and in guiding district curriculum and instructional programs
-
Reviews significant curriculum changes, and textbook adoptions
-
Reviews student achievement and student assessment data
-
Acts as a critical connector between community organizations that are involved in the district’s instructional program
-
Focuses on all of the district's priority areas, with a lens on ensuring achievement for all students.

Reviews recommendations for extended learning and supplemental academic programming.

Student Support Committee
The purpose of the Student Support Committee is to:

Policy Committee
The purpose of the Policy Committee is to:

Reviews and/or prepares all new policy proposals for Board consideration, other than Finance policy.

Conducts regular, timely reviews and assessments of existing policies.

Review and make recommendations regarding any proposed policy amendments.

Follows up with Administration to ensure timely development of any corresponding Administrative Guidelines.

Recommends to the Board any policy additions, deletions, or changes.

Monitors implementation of the Board-approved policy.

Monitors the district’s 5-year Strategic Plan.
