The Poughkeepsie City School District’s Board of Education has begun to use “BoardDocs®,” a system designed to provide easy access to information and to eliminate the need to copy all of the documentation required for Board of Education meetings. Information is also more quickly available to the public via the Internet.
Now, meeting agendas, proposed resolutions, and background information are available at the click of a mouse.
By visiting the website,
Poughkeepsie’s Public Link to Board Docs,
an individual can view past meeting agendas and minutes, as well as view items proposed for the next Board of Education meeting. Typically, the agendas are finalized at least five days before a scheduled meeting.
The District maintains an online Policy Manual on BoardDocs that is searchable by keyword or policy name.
