Krieger Elementary families were treated to food, fun and gifts at its Snacks with Santa event Thursday.
As advertised, Santa Claus showed up to take photos with the students, who also enjoyed craft activities, games and snacks like cookies, chips and hot chocolate, as well as pizza donated by the Krieger PTA.
Each student also received a gift, as local group Brothers in Turmoil donated 175 toys to be handed out. The gifts that were not given out were sent to Krieger students unable to attend.
“It was really great to see the kids and their families enjoy quality time together,” Krieger Principal Melissa Barrow said.
