DIAGNOSTIC TOOL FOR SCHOOL AND DISTRICT EFFECTIVENESS
(DTSDE)

The Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness reflects six tenets identified as essential for effective school systems and practices.  Through a survey process Parents/Guardians, Students (grades 3 and up), and Staff are surveyed for input annually.  This process compares a school and district's practices to the optimal conditions of learning, as defined by the Diagnostic Tool for School and District Effectiveness (DTSDE) rubric.  The United States Department of Education (USDOE) granted the New York State Education Department (NYSED) a waiver from specific provisions of No Child Left Behind (also known as ESEA "the Elementary & Secondary School Education Act") due to the creation of this focused school and district review process.

Below, survey results from the 2019 – 2020 school year through the 2023 – 2024 school year.
Results from the most recent DTSDE survey (2024 – 2025) will be posted as soon as they are available.

Included in reporting are a districtwide compilation of results as well as school specific detail.
