Poughkeepsie City School District

The Technology Department supports the instructional, administrative, and remote technology needs of the district. The Director of Technology oversees the PCSD technology team who collectively make recommendations to the instructional personnel on requests for the purchasing of instructional technology devices (laptops, Chromebooks, interactive displays, assistive technology). The technology team provides technical support, software support, and network architecture and engineering. The Director of Technology works with the department of instruction to support technology through our Technology Liaisons in each building, administrative office support, website management and the district Student Information System (SIS).

The district provides Tech Liaisons in each building for Level 1 classroom instructional technology support. The Building Tech Liaisons are overseen by the department of Instruction and assisted by the PSCD Technology Team.
