As we prepare for fall 2025 it's vitally important accurate addresses are on file with the district for all students. This is especially true this summer as the district prepares to offer bus service to most elementary students for the first time. Unfortunately, much of the mail being sent by the district is being returned due to inaccurate address information, and we need your help to change that. New York State Distraction Free Schools 

The 2025 – 2026 school year initiates the New York State distraction-free statewide school policy which includes:   

  • No unsanctioned use of smartphones and other internet-enabled personal devices on school grounds in K-12 schools
  • A “bell to bell” distraction free environment 
  • School planning for storage of devices during the school day 
  • District specific policy development 
  • Funding for storage assistance
