Thank you to everyone who submitted an application to join the Poughkeepsie City School District Board of Education.
While the application window is now closed, the Board is appreciative of the overwhelming level of interest displayed by the community for serving on the governing body and becoming more involved in the school district.
The Board will review the applications and begin the process of potentially appointing members to fill the two open seats.
If you were not able to apply, or if you are among those who applied and are not selected, the Board encourages all community members and families to remain engaged with the district and at Board meetings moving forward.
