We’re pleased to announce the BusRight app is now fully functional for all Poughkeepsie City School District bus routes.
The app, which eligible families were invited to download last month, allows parents and guardians to track their student’s bus route each day to and from school directly from their smartphones, including when it is expected to arrive at their bus stop, and receive notifications regarding when the bus begins or ends its route.
The full functionality of the app was available for the first time with this afternoon’s dismissal, after each bus used by the district was outfitted with a special tablet with a GPS tracking system for communicating with the BusRight system.
Families who receive bus service should have received an email from Support@BusRight.com with a subject line “You’re Invited to BusRight,” which included a personalized invitation to download the app and create an account.
