Welcome to Physical Education & Health

  • Physical education

Physical education is an integral part of the total educational program for each student. Our goals are to help students become lifelong learners in the areas of physical fitness and sports skills.  We want students to take away the knowledge and concepts associated with fitness and activities to develop lifelong habits in physical activities.

It is the responsibility of every PHS scholar to attend, participate, and successfully complete physical education each year.  One-half credit will be earned by scholars each year that will fulfill the New York State Physical Education requirement of two credits to be eligible to graduate.
