Girls take to gridiron for pilot program
Poughkeepsie High School has a new football team that is part of a pilot program throughout the state. The varsity girls flag football team is part of a New York State Public High School Athletic Association program with about 150 teams across the state.

Parents learned first-hand how important it was to their child's academics during a workshop Wednesday afternoon and left with tips on how to help their child along with a bonus of coupons for free milk and eggs courtesy of Stewart's.
