Interim PMS Principal Joe Mazzetti I've been an administrator in the Poughkeepsie City School District since 2006, most recently I served as the principal at P.A.C.E. Academy from 2016-2020. Prior to becoming an administrator in 2016, I was a Social Studies teacher.

Malcom X said, "Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." It is one of my favorite quotes.

My educational experiences have given me the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being. I have an uncompromising belief that all students can learn given a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, a committed and focused educational team, an encouraging community and a supportive family. Together, we are Champions for Children in Poughkeepsie City Schools.
