• Mr. David Feliciano

Mr. David Feliciano has been an educator for over 13 years in public schools in NYC. Throughout that time Mr. Feliciano has worked in various districts in Brooklyn and the South Bronx, bringing extensive experience in and out of the classroom. He has worked as a bilingual teacher, ICT and general education teacher in grades 1-6. As a Dean of students, he worked closely with students, parents, staff members, and administration to meet the school community’s social and emotional needs.  Being a former auditor, he has extensive knowledge of information & organizational systems & structures, technology, and data analysis. He brings this set of skills to our school community to enhance a tailored educational experience for our students.

Mr. Feliciano believes that all children can learn and is committed to working alongside students, parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure that every child has a voice, an advocate, and a champion on their
side. “When students are given the tools and resources they need and provided with a safe and welcoming environment where risk-taking is encouraged, they will be happy and empowered.”  I am honored to be working alongside Principal Velez-Mitchell, and all the dedicated and capable staff of Morse Young Elementary to benefit all our students and families. I believe there is an incredible wealth of potential in all our children, and we are tasked with helping them transform that potential into reality.
