Violence Prevention Program- Preventive intervention efforts by SNUG staff will conduct a weekly program on violence prevention. Topics such as Parent–Child relationships, Cease Fire, Bullying, School Violence, Making Positive Choices and more. The SNUG Program aims to shift the culture and increase proactive preventative behavior by targeting influential members from across a community that are parents, caregivers, students, and community members.

Project Protect 2021 - Keeping Children Safe- How to Recognize and Report Child Abuse".  It's 1 hour long workshop and covers the categories of child abuse, the signs that children show when they are being abused, and finally, what adults can do to stop the abuse. The CPCA’s mission is to end child abuse in the Hudson Valley. In order to do so, knowing how to identify and report child abuse is key.

This workshop will educate families on becoming homeowners.  Provide information on how to prepare to buy a home, loans, savings and budgeting, and how to access resources in the community for low income families that may exist.  We can invite real estate agents, lenders, and homeowners to share information.  We will also provide pictures and information of homes that are currently available to inspire and encourage.

Narcan Training - Naloxone (Narcan) is a medication that reverses an overdose by blocking heroin or other opioids in a person’s brain for 30 to 90 minutes. Narcan training to anyone who believes they may encounter a person who is at risk for drug overdose or misuse.
