District grateful for support

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.

-John Fitzgerald Kennedy

The season of gratitude is upon us. As we celebrate these next several days in thanks and gratitude for all that we cherish, I would be remiss to not acknowledge the school community and our community who have a vested interest in the success of PCSD students.

Through commitment, cooperation, and passion, our collective impact has supported the academic and positive youth development of our children. Championing our children continues to be the axiom that fuels our ambitions.

Therefore, on the eve of Thanksgiving, I thank our entire school community and our essential partners in all that you continue to do to support our children. Maintaining an unwavering dedication to our children is not only collegially commendable but highly appreciated by the 4,500 + students and their families we service annually.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving break!                                            -Dr. Eric Jay Rosser, superintendent of schools
