Dear PMS Families,

On behalf of the staff at Poughkeepsie Middle School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year! We are excited for our scholars to return to school. The PMS team is prepared and dedicated to helping our scholars grow academically, emotionally and mentally. The partnership between the school and home is crucial. Please take the time to make sure your scholar completes all homework assignments, reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills. Also, please make sure that your scholar knows that you expect them to succeed in school and go on to college. They need your support every day. Our Infinite Campus platform allows you, as a parent, to know daily attendance, grades and assignments completed. This offers a great opportunity to support your scholar.

Scholars' arrival time is at 7:50 am each day unless breakfast is desired. Breakfast begins at 7:30 am. Homeroom begins at 8:05 am.
