FAQs/preguntas frecuentes sobre los Bonos de Capital

Creating educational pathways at each of the district’s schools is one way the Capital Improvement Project will help change our schools into 21st century learning centers. At Warring, one option being considered is to create a medical programming and health lab space.

Under Proposition 2, which requires a supermajority vote, in addition to whatever pathway is decided, the project would include a complete gutting and renovation of the school’s interior. The playground would be relocated and drainage issues throughout the site would be addressed. Exterior windows would be replaced along with select lintels and other facade improvements. There would be improvements made to the piped heating and cooling system as well as air conditioning and the fuel storage tank would be replaced.

The school would also get a new safety vestibule with a transaction window. The non-operational boiler would be replaced and air-handling equipment added where needed. Non-rated doors would be replaced and restroom fixtures and finishes renovated. (These projects are also outlined in Proposition 1, a proposition that only serves to address the mechanical and infrastructure needs of the building).
