Poughkeepsie High School has set the Class of 2021 graduation festivities and, similar to last year, the activities planned will serve as fond memories to Poughkeepsie High School seniors and their families.
June 1, 2021: Superintendent Dr. Eric Jay Rosser and Poughkeepsie High School Principal Kelleyann Royce-Giron will lead PHS staff in a caravan from the high school to the homes of seniors to acknowledge their achievement of high school graduation. Seniors will be presented with a lawn sign to publicize their achievement to the community. Last year the Pioneer Pride Senior Caravan was a huge success that not only was highly appreciated by PHS seniors and their families but PHS alumni and the community in general. June 2, 2021: The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will take place along with the Annual Scholarship/Awards Ceremony at Poughkeepsie High School.
June 24, 2021: The big day on all the minds of our seniors will be the 2021 Commencement Exercises, scheduled for 6 p.m. at the PHS sports field.
All events will follow the appropriate safety protocols.
